We decided yesterday that we will be meeting at our newly purchased building every Sunday at 10 AM from now on. We may have a permit that is required to begin the remodeling process this next Sunday, but even if we don't we'll gather for coffee, and discuss/plan/prepare for the coming weeks when we do have the permit. So no regular services for a while, we will worship through our labor..........

March 2, 2003

Grant has been talking with the city building code guy (I'm sure there is a more technical job title, but I don't know what it is), and it seems that all we have to do to be able to start holding services is to get the bathrooms ADA compliant. Fortunately, that will involve only moving some walls to make them bigger, but we do not need to move and/or add any fixtures. If Grant can get the necessary permits for that type of work by Sunday, then I think we can start doing some work. Otherwise, we will just have a meeting to updatae everyone on what needs to be done in more detail, and maybe do some brainstorming for ideas for the rest of the space.
